Marc Savard celebrates with Dennis Wideman after scoring the game-winning goal in overtime of Game 3 of the 2008 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals against Montreal.
Anon Responses:
Matt Cooke did NOT end Marc savards career. savard came back after that then got taken out again… BUT the pens dont even compare to the flyers, The flyers are filled with dirty players, the pens had a dirty player til he changed his game. so that flyer/pen whos the dirtiest team discussion will always be the flyers.

Lol hey asshole with the cooke confession, get your facts straight, cooke didnt give him the concussion idiot.
-
Whoever submitted that confession about Marc Savard is really stupid. Matt Cooke didn’t end his career, Matt Hunwick did.
-
boston fans and hockey fans in general need to stop putting all of the blame on matt cooke for savard’s career ending.
-I just wanted to say something to those confessing about Matt Cooke being a dirty player, etc. While he definitely made some dirty plays in the past, if you’ve watched him at all the past two seasons you would know he’s changed. I know Matt and he has made personal changes in his life that people don’t know about that has resulted in a change in his on ice play. It really bothers me when people continue to judge him when they don’t know his story.
